- The amount of work will be approximately half time with periods of full time work. Initial work will be primarily outside service calls.
- Computer repair experience necessary. e.g. virus removal, hard drive replacement, windows installation, lots of diagnosis of hardware and software problems in Windows Server 2003, XP, 2000, Vista, etc. - There will be mostly field service work. Must have a reliable vehicle. Most service calls are in Rossland - Trail area. Our service range is Grand Forks to Creston to Nelson. We pay a good mileage rate. - A strong aptitude for fixing mechanical problems on laser printers would be useful. - Good people skills necessary. i.e. customer relations skills. The candidate will frequently work alone. The ability to work unsupervised is essential. - Retail store work experience desirable. - Must be reliable and prompt at doing paperwork eg. closing service calls, typing invoices, shipping parts, processing RMA's, etc. - Casual business attire required, suitable for working in a law office or a bank. - Compensation: In store rate to be determined based on experience and education.
